B is for Benjo

Benjo: A riotous holiday, a noisy day in the streets. (see Bacchanalian: used of riotously drunken merrymaking.)

Benjo: an ancient riotous festivity in Akasha, where it is said that the living people can celebrate next to the spirits of their beloved ones.

Carnavalesque feast,
dancing around the bonfire,
fireflies circling us.

Bacchanalian
indulgent tribal chanting,
Beltane’s envious.

Spirits laugh nearby
midnight hour chiming: masks off!
