Whooperups: Minstrel: Poet and singer, also called a jongleur, who lived and travelled on the largess of the aristocracy. / Bard, mendicant, beggar.
Woebegone — (adj) sad or miserable in appearance, see Tabescent: Wasting away, or becoming emaciated.

Unskilled whooperups,
my guild, to endlessly roam
as I sing your praise.
Every dazzling place
no more than waste to my eyes,
in your long absence.
I´m wasting away,
lonely, faithfully hoping
one day, you´ll come back.
I hope you are enjoying these little pieces of poetry that I´m doing this month.

I can’t either imagine myself roaming the world, singing for food. It sounds quite romantic in medieval stories, though. 😉
