Fleeting: passing swiftly; vanishing quickly; transient; transitory.
Just a fleeting thought: Can clams have a happy life living at high tide? Is it for the pearls? Such greedy treasure hoarders! Do ever clams smile? They need to shed tears To get a round perfect pearl. Do they love to weep?
Senryu 6 of 26 I´ll be doing this april to participate in #AtoZChallenge, #NaPoWriMo and #CampNaNoWriMo. Did you like it? Don´t be shy, leave a comment. I´d love if you add a blog hop so I can visit your post, too.
This is my Spanish haiku counterpart: F de Fugaz. Why, do you ask? My wonderful crew, #NaNoTribuMX started a micro stories challenge in Spanish this month. (We´re still voting the words we will use this month).
The team’s theme of the April Blogging from A to Z Challenge this year is:
ACCOMPLISHING YOUR DREAMS, AND THE DUALITY OF 22; to see all cool bloggers participating this challenge, you can click on the Master List of #AtoZChallenge.
Today’s NaPoWriMo‘s prompt: to write a poem that argues against, or somehow questions, a proverb or saying. They say that “all cats are black at midnight,” but really? Surely some of them remain striped. And maybe there is an ill wind that blows some good. Perhaps that wind just has some mild dyspepsia.
If you are participating on these challenges, I wish you good luck and lots of success. 😀

This gives me hope for them and then there might be some truth about the saying. 🙂

Weeping for pearls may not be reason enough to smile. 🙂

So true!

I’ve always wondered about the ‘happy as a clam’ saying. It seems they’d not be happy much, especially if someone is often taking their pearls.
