P is for Pineapple

Pineapple:  A large juicy tropical fruit consisting of aromatic edible yellow flesh surrounded by a tough segmented skin and topped with a tuft of stiff leaves.

The magician sold
a miraculous potion
to heal every soul.

Beggars and nobles,
all their ailments saw dispelled
with the simple draught.

Some pineapple juice
brewed with cinnamon and faith
made his placebo.

This is my Spanish haiku counterpart: P de Piña. Why, do you ask? My wonderful crew, #NaNoTribuMX started a micro stories challenge in Spanish this month. (We´re still voting the words we will use this month).

The team’s theme of the April Blogging from A to Z Challenge this year is:
ACCOMPLISHING YOUR DREAMS, AND THE DUALITY OF 22; to see all cool bloggers participating this challenge, you can click on the Master List of #AtoZChallenge.

Senryu 16 of 26 I´ll be doing this April to participate in #AtoZChallenge, #NaPoWriMo and #CampNaNoWriMo. Did you like it? Don´t be shy, leave a comment. I´d love if you add a blog hop so I can visit your post, too.

If you are participating on these challenges, I wish you good luck and lots of success. 😀
