R is for Ravioli

Ravioli:  A type of pasta that is shaped into small squares, filled with minced meat or cheese and served in a sauce.

Remember that time
when our teacher coworker
Raoul, cooked dinner?

Picasso pasta,
messy as the Guernica
but so delicious.

Our ways departed, 
I´m not teaching anymore.
the years have passed,  

And I wonder if 
we´ll ever eat together 
his ravioli again... 

This is my Spanish haiku counterpart: R de Ravioli. Why, do you ask? My wonderful crew, #NaNoTribuMX started a micro stories challenge in Spanish this month. (We´re still voting the words we will use this month).
