My response to the Moon haiku competition during the lunar eclipse. Gathering them here just for fun.
Well, this was a very exciting month. I really didn´t imagine that my bits of poetry had such a good response! Since April 2020, when I finished an AtoZ for the first time, I had my poor blog a bit abandoned.
Zombie: A mythological undead corporeal revenant created through the reanimation of a corpse. / A person who has no energy, seems to act without thinking, and does not notice what is happening". Zero: No quantity or number; naught; the figure 0.
Yeti: A yeti is a mythical creature that's said to live in the Himalayan mountains. Another name for a yeti is "abominable snowman".
Xylophagous: Feeding on wood, as certain insects or insect larvae. / Perforating or destroying timber, as certain mollusks, crustaceans, and fungi.
Walkman: A brand name for a kind of portable audio player, especially a cassette player and radio, used with headphones.
Venom: Poisonous substance secreted by animals such as snakes, spiders, and scorpions and typically injected into prey or aggressors by biting or stinging. / Extreme malice and bitterness shown in someone's attitudes, speech, or actions.
Unicorn: Old French, unicorne. Latin, unicornis. Literally, one-horned: unus, one and cornu, a horn. A fabulous animal resembling a horse with one horn. ~Peter S. Beagle, The Last Unicorn
Sabotage: To deliberately destroy, damage, or obstruct (something), especially for political or military advantage. / To deliberately stop someone from achieving something, or to deliberately prevent a plan or process from being successful.
